Salter HealthCare is pleased to announce that Phyllis Sullivan, RN, has joined Winchester Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, as the new Director of Nursing. Owned and operated by Salter HealthCare since 1976, Winchester Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a 121-bed skilled center located at 223 Swanton Street in Winchester.
As Director of Nursing, Sullivan is responsible for the overall management of the nursing department with the goal of providing the highest standard of care for the residents. In addition to recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training staff, she plans, develops, implements and directs programs and activities within the guidelines of long-term care.

With 29 years of experience in the nursing field, Sullivan’s background includes serving as the Director of Nurses at a nursing center in Everett, a Regional Nurse Manager for five skilled nursing centers in the Boston Metro area, and a Clinical Services Coordinator for six health care facilities in the Northeast region for a large healthcare services company.
