The holidays can be a bittersweet time for those who have recently lost their loved ones. They can be especially tough for seniors experiencing their first holiday without their spouse, whom they have spent most of their life with. Since the holidays are a time that is spent with friends and family, not having a significant other to share them with can be difficult at best.
This holiday, take a few minutes out of your day to spend time with seniors in need. Whether it’s reading them a book, playing a board game, or simply having a conversation with them, those who are typically alone around the holidays will greatly appreciate the gesture.
