Temperatures have dropped, the days are getting shorter and leaves have slowly begun to turn color. Yes – fall has officially arrived in New England. Autumn also means back to school for students of all ages, and for seasonal businesses, it’s time to close up shop until springtime.
For those with a little extra time on their hands and looking to make a difference this fall, there is Salter Healthcare’s VIP Connection. Our volunteer program is an extremely rewarding and valuable experience. From helping with special events to simply spending some time chatting with our residents, there are countless ways to get involved.
Perhaps you are a local high school or college student looking to fulfill a course requirement or build your resume. Or maybe you are employed part-time and simply enjoy helping others. Whatever the case may be, we welcome anyone who wants to help out.
Taking a few minutes out of your day to spend at any one of our three facilities can make a huge difference in the lives of our patients and residents.
